All of us at the Foundation are delighted at the news of Trustee Peter Lee’s appointment by the outgoing Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Dame Sarah Goad, to be one of four new Deputy Lieutenants for the County. Deputy Lieutenants may be asked to represent the Lord Lieutenant at a range of ceremonial events or official functions. Commenting on this new distinction, Peter said “I am greatly honoured that I have been chosen to support the incoming Lord Lieutenant, Mr Michael More-Molyneux, and very pleased that I shall have a platform to continue some of the work and duties that I performed during my year as High Sheriff”.
