Teenage Cancer Trust

On the 13th May Foundation Director Andrew Ross was given a tour of the Teenage Cancer Trust’s splendid modern 10 bed unit at Southampton General Hospital, where he chatted to staff as well as to a young patient and his mother. The Foundation had contributed £50,000 to the Trusts £2.4 million appeal to build the unit. The photos show the brightly coloured corridor shortly after the unit was completed in 2013 and a group of young patients enjoying the unit’s first birthday party a year later. Andrew said afterwards how pleased he was that these young people can be given the best possible environment during their treatment and recovery. www.teenagecancertrust.org
