Adapted golf buggies helping to get people involved in wheelchair golf

The Handigolf Foundation worked with over 200 people during its programme of taster days and demonstrations in the last year. The project aims to promote wheelchair golf in the UK, and particularly to help people with standing disabilities to play golf from specially adapted buggies. They work with spinal units around the country as well as taking the buggies to golf clubs to run taster sessions.

The Peter Harrison Foundation provided a grant to purchase 2 adapted golf buggies for the project.
